Sabbatical: Pre-Departure Video
As of this post, I have recently returned from a 2-month pastoral sabbatical. Over the next few days I will be posting a number of reflections and resources related to sabbatical, for 2 reasons:
- To benefit those within Coram Deo who want to know more about what God has been doing in me over the past 2 months, and
- To benefit other pastors and leaders as they plan for seasons of sabbatical.
To start with, here's a video I made back in October to help explain the concept of sabbatical for our church. Any time a pastor takes a leave, there are a number of questions that arise in people's minds... I wanted to answer some of those questions and help the whole church rejoice in this practice.(See also the post "Five Reasons for a Pastoral Sabbatical")
